Wilma Froman

Wilma Joyce Froman went to be with the LORD on Monday, January 24, 2022. She was born March 19, 1945 to the late J.W. Ivy and Vercie King Ivy. She was proceeded in death by her siblings Doris Holland, Bessie Cupples, and Travis Ivy. She is survived by her two children, Natalie Rowland and Kristy Arnold, five grand children, Elizabeth Maness, Johnathan Rowland, Matthew Rowland, Ryan Arnold, and Makayla Sakib, and three great grandchildren, Allie Rowland, Bradley Rowland, and Freya Maness. She is also survived by her sisters Betty Gwendell Froman, Ella Harris, Terry Wray, and Sherry Carroll as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Froman was a life long Jacksonian who graduated from South Side High School and from Jackson State Community College. She held many jobs throughout her working career including ones at Olean Tile, Jackson State Community College, and Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time outdoors basking in the sun. Her faith in JESUS brought her much comfort in life. Funeral services will be held at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, 403 E. Baltimore St, Jackson, TN 38301. Visitation will be on Friday, February 4, 2022, from 5p until 7p. The funeral service will be on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1p. In lieu of flowers, donations in the name of Mrs. Wilma Joyce Froman can be made to In Touch Ministries or to Samaritan’s Purse.
