William "Will" Dow James

Will James passed away in his sleep at his home in Murfreesboro, TN on Saturday, October 24, 2021. Will was born on January 6, 1987, in Jackson, TN, the son of Paulette Adams James and Benton James. Will Had attended grade school in Jackson, middle school in Medina, and high school in Humboldt where he graduated in 2005. Will attended the University of Memphis where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Will had worked for Pizza Hut in Murfreesboro for several years. Will was preceded in death by his mother, Paulette James. He is survived by his father, Benton James; his stepmother, Beth James; stepsister, Amy Flynn; nephew, Gavin Lynch; uncle, Sam DePriest; aunt, Jo Kennedy; grandmother, Polly Adams; as well as several cousins. Will’s family will have a private service to honor and to remember him. The family encourages anyone wishing to honor Will to please donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
