William H. Nix

Funeral service for Mr. William H. Nix, age 88, will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 1, 2018, in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Concorde Cemetery. Mr. Nix passed away April 29, 2018, in Jackson, Tennessee. He was born December 14, 1929, in Red Bay, Alabama to the late Benjamin and Eva Holcombe Nix. He was also preceded in death by his son, William H. Nix, II; brothers, Eugene Nix and Doris Nix. Surviving relatives include his wife, Maggie Nix; son, Robert Nix (Mark); daughters, Eva LEcuyer (Aaron), Sherrie Krider (Joe) and Lisa Record (Rex); grandchildren, Alexandra Martin, Hannah LEcuyer, Billy Cupples, Lee Stansell, Jennifer Potts, Michael McCall, Tyler Nix and Cody Nix; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
