Teresa Gail Privett

Funeral services for Mrs. Teresa Gail Scroggins Privett, age 57, will be held at 2 pm Friday, July 26, 2024, at Peoples Chapel Church with Bro. Shane Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Mason Wells Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 12 – 2 pm before the service.

Mrs. Privett passed away on July 23, 2024, in Jackson, TN. She was born on December 9, 1966, in Jackson, TN to Henry Scroggins and Shirley Banks Scroggins. Teresa was a graduate of South Side High School. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; father, Henry Scroggins; beloved dog, Gracie.

Mrs. Privett is survived by her mother, Shirley Scroggins; husband, Anthony “Tony” Privett; son, Dustin Smith (April); stepdaughter, Victoria Privette; brother, James Scroggins (Samantha); sister, Anita Scroggins West (Clint); several nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Gavyn Smith, Remi Smith, and Kellin Smith.

Pallbearers for the service are James Scroggins, James Scroggins, Jr., River Scroggins, Andrew Scroggins, Angel Scroggins, Victoria Privett, Gavyn Smith, Clint West, Jay McIntosh, Kenny West, and Allie West.
