Ruth E Newman

Graveside services for Mrs. Ruth Elkins Newman, age 93, will be held at 2 pm Friday, January 28, 2022, at Beech Bluff Cemetery with Bro. Michael Thomas officiating.
Mrs. Newman passed away on January 23, 2022, at Bells Nursing Home. She was born on June 25, 1928, in Poplar Springs, TN to the late Raymond Edgar Elkins and Ora Mae Autry Elkins.
Mrs. Newman is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elbert Dell Newman; sisters, Ramona Clymer, Melba Fowler; brothers, Dwain Elkins, James Elkins; son-in-law, Terry Thomas.
Mrs. Newman is survived by her son, Mike Newman (Nan); daughter, Teresa Thomas; sister-in-law, Kay Elkins; five grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to East Trinity UMC.
