Robert Lawrence Farrell

Mr. Robert Farrell, a lifelong resident of Jackson, TN passed away early Monday morning, January 24, 2022. He was 82 years old. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bettye Maughmer Farrell, in 2003 and by one grandson, Phillip Russell Carter. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Farrell Carter and husband Buddy Carter, and three grandchildren, James Robert Carter, Joanna "Jamie" Sprague and husband Nick, and Maggie Carter. He also lived long enough to be promoted to a "Great" grandfather to Chloe Sprague whom he adored and who is now 3 months old. Robert was a devoted father and grandfather, always making sure that his family knew they were loved. In his earlier years he built and drove hot rods, and he enjoyed all things mechanical. He was employed as an automotive mechanic for many years at Owens Corning Fiberglass. In light of the recent rise in Covid cases, the family will hold a private funeral service.
