Robert Franklin Rhodes, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Franklin Rhodes, Jr., age 73, will be held at 1 pm Friday, November 4, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Price officiating. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 5-7 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home and 11-1 pm before the service.

Mr. Rhodes passed away on November 1, 2022, in Lexington, SC. He was born on July 27, 1949, in Jackson, TN to the late Robert Franklin Rhodes, Sr. and Opal Jones.

Mr. Rhodes was a member of the Church of God, he was a longtime Little League baseball coach, he was a lifelong Tennessee Volunteers and St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was a lifelong musician, he and his family traveled and sang with multiple gospel ministry groups.

Mr. Rhodes is survived by his wife, Dorothy Rhodes; daughter, Milisa Rhodes (Jason) of Lexington, SC, daughter, Teresa Goins (Marty) of Sale Creek, TN, son, Robert Rhodes, III (Tammy) of Howard, OH, daughter, Tammy Rhodes of Lexington, SC; grandchildren, Chelsea Goodnight, Amber Rhodes-LaPoint, Ashley Jones, Zachary Stewart, Anna Goins, Robert Rhodes IV, Jordan Rhodes, Skylar Rhodes, Peyton Rhodes and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the service are MD Dulin, Curt Byrum, Lucas Byrum, William Johnson, Terry Stanfield, Michael Stanfield.
