Rebecca Mcneely Gourley Dedmon

Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca McNeely Gourley Dedmon, age 91, will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN with William George, Larry Murphy, and Dr. Philip Jett officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevernon Cemetery in Friendship, TN. Mrs. Dedmon passed away on May 9, 2021, in Jackson, TN. She was born on July 30, 1929, in Nashville, TN to the late David Otho and Luna Throgmorton McNeely. Mrs. Dedmon graduated from Tiptonville High School with honors. After high school she graduated from Milady School of Cosmetology. Mrs. Dedmon was an active member of Englewood Baptist Church where she was an organist, Sunday school teacher, and missions chairman. Mrs. Dedmon is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Cecil Gourley, Aaron Dedmon; sons, David William Gourley, Paul Allen Gourley; daughter, Karen Tweed, grandson, Charlie. Mrs. Dedmon is survived by her sister, Patricia Bolen. Visitation for Mrs. Dedmon will be held from 10:30-11:30 am on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Englewood Baptist Church.
