Patricia Darlene Moorehead

Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Darlene Moorehead, age 73, will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 1 pm in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgecrest Cemetery. Mrs. Moorehead passed away on February 22, 2020, at Vanderbilt Hospital. She was born on August 28, 1946, in Jackson, TN to the late Hugh William and Sarah Artie Mae Cole. Mrs. Moorehead is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tommie Moorehead; daughter, Cheri Gateley and Husband Chris; son, Jason Moorehead and wife Carmen; five grandchildren, Tyler, Lindsey and Cole Gateley, Hayden and Addyson Moorehead; two great grandchildren, Ella and Jax Gateley. Her biggest accomplishment were her children and grandchildren. She was the best mom and meemaw in the world. She also leaves two sisters, Barbara Logan, Bettye Evans and husband Billy; brother, James Cole. Visitation for Mrs. Moorehead will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020, from 5 8 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the service are Tyler Gateley, Hayden Moorehead, Barry Stacey, Mason Cagle, Michael Yarbrough, Bobby Jernigan, and Ronnie Woods. Honorary pallbearer Cole Gateley.
