Martha Mae Cook Wyatt age 92 of Jackson, TN. was born on June 27, 1928 in Humboldt, TN. to parents Andrew and Delia Cook. She passed away on September 13, 2020 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Jackson, Tennessee. Martha was married to Eber Devon Wyatt on March 13, 1947. She and her husband were longtime members of Liberty Grove Baptist Church. They raised two daughters in Jackson Tennessee, Susan Wyatt Brantley and Teresa Wyatt Woods. They then built their retirement home in Henderson, Tennessee where they enjoyed a beautiful view of land, a fishing pond and gardens. Martha was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, three brothers, James Cook of Jackson Michigan, A.B. Cook J.R. of Jackson TN, and Bobby Joe Cook of Jackson TN. She is survived by her children, Susan Brantley (Wayne) of Jackson, TN., and Teresa Woods (Brad) of Jackson, TN., her sister Betty Ann Caradine (Johnny) of Millington TN, brother Murray Cook (Billie) of Jackson, TN., brother Kenny Cook (Susan) of Jackson, TN. She is also survived by her many grandchildren who knew her as "Gee". Wayne D. Brantley (Lisa) of Savannah, Georgia, Christy Arnold (Cory) of Maryville, TN, Chad Newland (Amber) of Henderson, TN, Clint Newland (Jamie) of Henderson, TN., great-grandchildren are Ashton Brantley and Bryant Brantley of Savannah, Georgia, Caylan Arnold, Callie Arnold, and Cassa Arnold of Maryville, TN, Colby Newland, Cara Newland, Alyssa Newland, Kolbie Blankenship, Kaden Blankenship of Henderson, TN, Addison Newland, Wyatt Newland, and Taylor Newland of Henderson, TN. She was also survived by her aunt, Sally Clay of Jackson, TN. and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service to honor and remember Martha Mae will be held at 3 PM Friday, September 18 at Ridgecrest cemetery in Jackson Tennessee with Brother Larry Kirk officiating. All family and friends are welcome to pay their respects. Pallbearers for the service will be Wayne Brantley, Chad Newland, Clint Newland, Colby Newland, and Cory Arnold.
