With profound sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn Ray; a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to all who lives she touched. She departed this life on March 10, 2022. Marilyn was born in Maury City, TN. on August 17, 1954, to the late Marvin and Lena Maie Farmer Pullom. Marilyn professed hope in Christ at an early age while attending Hudson Grove Methodist Church. As a youth, Marilyn received an education from the school system in Trezevant, TN. In her quality time, Marilyn enjoyed listening to music, watching her favorite shows on television, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and relatives when the time permitted. Marilyn was a strong believer in Christ and often spoke about our Lord and Savior. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Lena Maie Pullom, her grandson Dietrich Isiah Milton, three brothers Larry Pullom, Bobby, and Billy Dean, and three nieces. Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters: Shantell Milton of Jackson, TN., Natarsha Pullom and Bobbie Jean Ray of Nashville, TN. Grandchildren: Alex Cawthon of Memphis, TN., Elijah Milton of Jackson, TN., Adaisha Allen, Malik Allen, and Mia Allen of Huntingdon, TN., Dietrich Raspberry, DaNavion Ray and Aniya Ray of Nashville, TN. Great grandchildren: Emari Milton and Ealin Milton of Jackson, TN. Sisters: Freddie Jackson, Sadie Conley, Virginia Marlow, Jeanette (Dewayne) Whitmore all of Cleveland, OH., Nancy Duckworth of Covington, GA., Barbara (Richard) Prince of Gahanna, OH., Gloria Pullom of Cleveland, OH., and Janice Pullom of Gallatin, TN. Brothers: Landis Pullom of Dallas, TX., Samuel Pullom of Atlanta, GA., Johnnie (Hazel) Pullom of Cleveland, OH., Charles Pullom of Cleveland, OH., Kenneth Pullom of Nashville, TN., an uncle Johnnie (Edith) Farmer of Cleveland, OH., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. With love, submitted by the Pullom Family. Marilyn will forever be missed and in our hearts. A memorial service for Marilyn will be held at 2 pm Friday, March 18, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home North Chapel in Humboldt, TN with Bro. Gerald Smith officiating.
