Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Threadgill Johnson, age 94, will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Parkburg Baptist Church with Danny Rachel officiating. Interment will follow in the Parkburg Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson passed away March 24, 2018, in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born September 22, 1923 in Lexington, Tennessee to the late John and Grace Fesmire Threadgill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Johnson; brothers, Dennis Threadgill and James Threadgill; sister, Marie Tate; nephew, Dalton Tate, Jr. She retired from the Bemis Mill then went to work at Wal-Mart South as a greeter. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years and loved all the children. Surviving relatives include her nieces, Donna Morel, Patty Standridge (Wayne), Janice Lindley (Don) and Paula Evans (Russ). Visitation for Mrs. Johnson will be held Thursday, March 29, 2018, 1-2 pm at Parkburg Baptist Church. Pallbearers for the service will be Glenn Fesmire, Don Lindley, Kenton Evans, Dustin Evans, Andy Matthews and Wayne Standridge.
