Justin Nicholas Ricketts

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Justin Nicholas Ricketts, who was born on December 3, 2012, in Jackson, TN and sadly left us on March 14, 2025. Justin resided in Vinemont, AL, where he was deeply loved by his family and friends.

Justin was the beloved son of Johnny (Megan), Summer (Michael), Timothy (Mackenzie) and Darlene (Robert) and he had a stepmother, Melissa. Justin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Susan Byrum; grandfather, Michael Price; sister, Destiny Maggard; great grandparents, Deon and Betty Ricketts.

Justin cherished every moment spent with his family and friends. Justin found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing, playing basketball, swimming, playing red light green light with his little brother Braxton and being outdoors. He also had a fondness for eating pizza, which brought him great happiness.

Justin left behind his brothers, Robert (Deanna), Gage (Kayla), Anthony (Lindsey), Andrew, Dawson, Jackie, Braxton, Riley, Brayden, Austin, Cody; sisters, Terri (Johnathan), Angel Jayden, Bella, Emilee, Makenzie, Kaylee, Hannah, April; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Justin will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and love for those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services for Justin will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Interment will be at Caves Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 11 - 1 pm before the funeral service. 

In lieu of flowers donations to the funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
