Funeral Services for Mrs. Joy Lou Roberts Michie will be Tuesday, November 14, 2023, 1:00 PM in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Hunley officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 AM prior to the service.

Mrs. Michie, of Humboldt, TN, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023, at Tennessee State Veteran Home in Humboldt. Mrs. Michie was born on January 24, 1934 in Parsons, TN to the late Noah Lee Roberts and Opal Maxine Bawcum Roberts.

Mrs. Michie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred Edgar Michie, Jr.; son, Ralph Edgar Michie; brother, Ralph Gene Roberts. She leaves behind a son, Richard Michie (Ann); daughter, Susan Michie Waldon (Michael); grandchildren, Rick Michie, Jr. (Amber), John “Mike” Michie, Sr. (Kristen), Sarah Waldon Walker (Eric), Emily Waldon; great grandchildren, Rachael Michie, Mason Michie, John “J. J.” Michie, Jr., Jedediah “Jed” Michie.
