Funeral services for Mr. John Curtis Bishop, age 74, will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Pastor J. P. Stovall officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Baptist Church Cemetery in McKenzie, TN. Mr. Bishop passed away on February 6, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1946, in Jackson, TN to the late Max Bishop and Dorothy Dawson Roberts. Mr. Bishop is preceded in death by his parents and stepson, David Wayne Jowers. Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife, Mary Bishop; son, Terry Bishop (Heather); stepson, Kevin Nuten Jowers (Bobbie); daughter, Connie Lee Albert (Bennie); brother, H. G. Roberts, Jr.; sisters, Gail Simpson, Cathy Roberts, Sue Roberts; eight grandchildren, Zackary Bishop, Nathaniel Bishop, T. J. Bishop, Connor Bullock, Kaytlyn Bullock, Tracee Craft, Chelcee Albert, Tina Harris; three great grandchildren, Joel Jowers, Gage Harris, and Jase Harris. Visitation with the Family will be held from 11 am 1pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
