Jessie Verline Powers

Funeral services for Ms. Jessie Verline Powers, age 88, will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at 4:00 pm at Big Springs UMC in Medon, TN with Bro. Danny Rachel officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Powers passed away on October 17, 2019, in Henderson, TN. She was born on June 21, 1931, in Medon, TN to the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny C Barnes. Ms. Powers is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Wesley Powers; son, William Larry Powers. Ms. Powers is survived by her son, Jimmy Powers; daughters, Jackie Stablein (Gerald), Brandy Ferrell (Todd); sister, Helen Taylor; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Visitation for Ms. Powers will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 2- 4 pm at Big Springs UMC.
