Jeffrey Charles Kuhn

Jeff Kuhn, a retired AutoZone employee of over 20 years and drummer for Three-Way Band, died on February 20, 2018 at the age of 65 after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer in August of 2017. Jeff was a resident of Pinson, Tennessee. Jeff is survived by his wife (Cindy Kuhn), son (Ben Kuhn), brother (Charlie Kuhn), and sister (Kathy Kuhn-Spiegel). He is predeceased by his sister (Charlene Kuhn) and parents (Charles Sr. and Adele Kuhn). Jeff was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and later moved with his family to Long Island, New York. Through chasing his passion of playing music as a drummer in many bands across most of the Southeastern United States, he found himself settling in Memphis, Tennessee. Here he met his wife (Cindy Jeter-Kuhn) and he continued to chase his passion of playing music in countless clubs, weddings, bars, and music festivals with Three Way Band. He also worked full time as a research analyst for Autozone Corporate. Eventually Jeff, Cindy, and their only child (Ben Kuhn) moved to Pinson, Tennessee where he continued to work with AutoZone in a retail store as an assistant manager. Jeffs wife and son currently live in Pinson, Tennessee. Jeff was a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, watching football, and mostly listening to and playing music. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and band-mates. A visitation/memorial service is scheduled between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23 at the Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. There will be a short memorial service at the end of the visitation time for a word and prayer from Pastor John Enoch. The family asks that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
