James Neal Mealer

Graveside services for Mr. James Neal Mealer, age 74, will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Browns Church Cemetery with Bro. Gerald Smith officiating. Mr. Mealer passed away on January 6, 2021, at Brookdale Jackson Oaks. He was born on October 4, 1946, in Selmer, TN to the late Maxie James Mealer and LoVeany McGarity Mealer. Mr. Mealer is survived by his daughter, Connie Terry (Shane); sister, Ruth Anne Snider (Bro. Jerry); grandchildren, Michael Terry (Jec), Sarah Jordan (Allen); lots of nieces and nephews that loved him very much. There will be a private visitation for family on Saturday, January 9, 2021, from 11 am - 12 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to American Cancer Society. The family ask those who attend please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
