James Allen Mathis

 Funeral services for Mr. James Allen Mathis, age 68, will be held at 1 pm Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 4-7 pm Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.

 Mr. Mathis passed away on February 10, 2025, in Lexington, TN. He was born on June 22, 1956, in Madison County to the late Mitchell Wilson Mathis and Dorothy Elizabeth Mainord Mathis. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry Mathis, Wayne Mathis; sister, Brenda Rouse.

 Mr. Mathis is survived by his brothers, Ray Mathis (Joyce), Larry Mathis (Amy); sister, Kay Walters (Cecil).

 Pallbearers for the service will be Tommy Mathis, Justin Mathis, Archie Click, Jacob Cupples, Jimmy Juhl and Tatum Mathis.
