James David Graves

Funeral services for Mr. James "David" Graves, age 75, will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Jerry Welch officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery. Mr. Graves passed away October 8, 2018, in Jackson, Tennessee. He was born October 14, 1942, in Jackson, Tennessee to the late JD and Lucille Butler Graves. He graduated from Northside High School in 1960 with Honors. He was a door greeter at Sams, worked for the Madison-County Sheriff Department, and retired from TVA. Surviving relatives include his wife, Wanda Harris Graves; daughters, Paula Pewitt (Justin) and Debbie Leon (John); grandchildren, Jensen Pewitt and Madison Nash. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be sent to Hillcrest Baptist Church Missionary Fund or to Gideons International. Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2018, 4-7 pm and Saturday, October 13, 2018, 1-2 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Maplewood Nursing Home for the loving support, care, and kindness.
