Georgia L. Chumney

Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia L. Chumney, age 91, will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Chumney passed away September 7, 2018, in Humboldt, Tennessee. She was born April 11, 1927, in Tiptonville, Tennessee to the late Dolphus and Dona Cook Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Fats" Chumney, Sr., son, Jordan Chumney; ten brothers and sisters. Surviving relatives include her sons, Robert "Sonny" Chumney (Tina) and Stan Chumney (Sarah); daughter-in-law, Carla Chumney; grandchildren, Ashlee Chumney, Robert Chumney, Heather Chumney, River Chumney, Amber Rodgers, and Kristen Davis; four great-grandchildren.
