Freddie Demoy Privett

Mr. Privett passed away at his residence on August 30, 2022. Fred was born in Crockett Mills, TN to Arthur John and Ruby Redmond Privett. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Church Privett; his son, Michael Lynn Privett, and his grandson, Joseph Demoy Stephens.

Mr. Privett is survived by his sons, Ricky Privett (Donna) of Atwood and Anthony (Teena) Privett of Fruitland; daughter-in-law Gail Privett of Fruitland; daughter Pam (Joe) Stephens of Brownsville. He is also survived by grandchildren, Christy (Josh) Laster, Brandi Privett, Krystal Privett, Susan Privett, Tara Copeland and Kara (Seth) Walls, Tessa Stephens, Weston Stephens, AC Stephens, Rooks Stephens, and great-grandchildren JR and Bexley Laster, Eason, Beau and Jovi Dru Walls, and Bentley Stephens.
Freddie and Wanda moved to the Fruitland community in 1956 and began farming. After he retired from farming he opened Highway 45 Sales tire shop, after he retired from the tire shop, he started raising Golden Retrievers, after he retired from raising goldens he began woodworking. He made and gifted many beautiful creations.
