Edward Leon Morton

Memorial services for Edward "Leon" Morton, age 82, will be held on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. in the Lawrence Sorenson Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Pack officiating. Mr. Morton passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at AHC Northbrooke in Jackson, TN. Mr. Morton was born on August 9, 1938 to his late parents, Edward "Carl" Morton, and Grace Pearl Strickland Morton. He was also preceded in death by his brother, John William "JW" Morton; and brother in law, Stennis Lewis. Mr. Morton is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Lana Victoria Morton, daughter, Leigh Ann Morton Browning (Michael); sister, Mary Pearl Lewis; and one granddaughter, Taylor Hunt. Visitation for Mr. Morton will be held on May 4, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. until the service time. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
