Funeral services for Mr. Edward Henry Davis, Sr., age 77, will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 1 pm in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Dr. Mark McSwain officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Mr. Davis passed away on December 2, 2019, in Jackson, TN. He was born on September 19, 1942, in Jackson, TN to the late James Edward Davis and Bernice Ruth Siler Davis. Mr. Davis was a member of Ararat Baptist Church. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Henry and Marie Siler; sister, Patty Marie House. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Margie Laird Davis; sons, Edward Henry Davis, Jr. (Martha), James R. Davis, Sr. (Melissa); sister, Pam Garner (Dwight); grandchildren, James, Janna, Lindsay, Kenly, and Jeffrey; great grandchildren, Sunny, Daisy, and Forrest. Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019, from 12-1 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
