Cornelia Pauline Spencer Cagle

Funeral services for Mrs. Cornelia Pauline Spencer Cagle, age 96, will be held at 2 pm Friday, March 15, 2024, at Northside Church Chapel with Rev. Ron Hale of Jackson, TN and Rev. Jeremy Cagle of Grace Fellowship Church in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada officiating. Interment will follow in Independence Cemetery in Lexington, TN. Visitation with the family will be held from 12-2 pm before the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to West Jackson Baptist Church or Northside Church.

Mrs. Cagle was born on July 13, 1927, in Madison County to the late Jim Spencer and Dulcie Cotton Spencer. She was a homemaker and a cook at Highland Park Elementary School. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and West Jackson Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer C. Cagle; brothers, Bluford Spencer and J.B. Spencer; sisters, Louise Luffman, Evelyn Barnes and Betty Jo Replogle.

Mrs. Cagle is survived by her sons, Jimmy Cagle (Patricia Rea), Tommy Cagle (Jenna Newbill); brother, Tera Spencer; grandchildren, Jeremy Cagle (Katie), Shannon Cagle-Steiner (Michael), Camille “Millie” Hayes (Josh), Brooke Cagle; great grandchildren, Jeremiah Hayden Cagle, Nora Jude Steiner, Jason Martin Cagle, and Eliza Quinn Steiner.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at TN Quality Hospice, Brookdale (Jackson Oaks), AHC Northbrooke and St. Mary Manor.

Pallbearers for the service will be Bruce Replogle, Josh Hayes, Michael Steiner, Jeff Cagle, Jimmy Wilson and Jackie Roach. Honorary pallbearers for the service are Carroll Griffin, Herb Owery, Paul Spencer, Lynn Ellis, John Bryant and Ray Smith.
