Life of Cindy Roberts (Walker) Cindy Leigh Roberts (Walker) age 60 went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2020 in Dover, DE. She was born in Jackson, TN on January 7, 1960 to Lawrence and Nancy Walker (Applewhite). She was married to Dennis Roberts on February 14, 1991. She is survived by her mother, Nancy Walker (Applewhite), her sister, Edie White (Walker) and her husband Tim, her aunt, Sherry Applewhite, her son, Wesley Roberts, her daughters, Melissa McClain and her husband Dave, Heather Stevenson, her grandchildren, Merissa, Gabriella, Dylan, Ethan, Jacob, Abbiegail, Amanda and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward (Eddie) and Mary (Boots) Applewhite, Cecil and Clara Bell Walker, her father Laurence Walker and her daughter, Charity Roberts. She graduated high school from Escola Americana De Rio, she received a bachelors degree in journalism from Union University, Jackson, TN and a masters degree in technical writing at Memphis State University. She had a career in newspaper, advertising and technical writing. She was a member of Faith Community Church where she created their weekly bulletin.
