Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Blake Rowland, age 53, will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 3 pm in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Smith officiating. Mr. Rowland passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on March 8, 2020, in Nashville, TN. He was born on January 23, 1967, in Batesville, MS to the late Clifford Harold Rowland and Vera Maxine Kennamore. Mr. Rowland was an avid Alabama football fan and he coached peewee football for many years. Mr. Rowland was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terry Rowland. Mr. Rowland is survived by his wife, Nicole Rowland; son, Christopher Blake Rowland, Jr. (Sydney Davis); daughters, Misti Cole (Josh), Hayley Hicks (Kelly); step daughters, Brittany Stoots (Blake), Dallas White (Anthony), Katelynn Rhodes; brother, Dennis Rowland (Kelly); sisters, Deborah Kaye Walls, Karen Camburn (Jerry), Ginger Myers, Trudy Kreppel; grandchildren, Felix Rowland, Peyton and Paxton Cole, Bella and Gabby Bean, Maddy and Carly Hicks; seven step grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Rowland will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, from 2 3 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
