Charles "David" Powell

Charles “David” Powell, age 37, of Bells, TN passed away December 5, 2021. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Dr. Philip Jett officiating. Mr. Powell was born on March 26, 1984, in Jackson, TN to Robert L Powell and Virginia Fancher. He was a member of Englewood Baptist Church. David was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Diamond; his nanny, Martha Stanley; his grandfathers, Charles Stanley and Bobby Powell. He is survived by his two daughters, Annah Powell, Baylee Powell; his mother, Virginia Fancher; father, Robert L. Powell; sister, Savannah Powell; brother, Josh Hill (Paige); grandmother, Jean Metzinger; fiance, Kim Welch and her daughters, Amanda Ellington, Kaylee Swain and her fiance, Hunter. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 PM In the Chapel of Lawrence–Sorensen Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and/or Englewood Baptist Church.
