Carolyn Lovelace Crowder

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Lovelace Crowder, age 89, will be held at 1 pm Monday, February 7, 2022, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Palmer officiating. Mrs. Carolyn Redmond Lovelace Crowder born August 29, 1932, to Silas and Era Hart Redmond passed away peacefully on February 3, 2022. Carolyn was a member of East Union Baptist Church. For years she was known for her passion of sending greeting cards to many friends and acquaintances. She was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass, where she worked for 18 years. Carolyn was married to William Farrow Lovelace until his death in 1990. She was blessed to have found love again and married Claron Bud Crowder. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a daughter Nancy Lovelace, son David Lovelace Sr., Stepson Joe Crowder, brother Jimmy Redmond, sisters Pansy Sherrod, Beauton Lowery and Ruby Dyer. She is survived by daughters, Susan Kemp (Wayne), Cathy Newman (Gil), stepson Ronnie Crowder (Connie), grandchildren Brian Kemp (Ginger), Leigh Ann Gay (Matt), David Lovelace, Jr. (Amy), John Lovelace (Lisa), Cortney Newman, Hunter Newman (Ashley), Ethan Newman (Kelley) and 14 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 11 am. The family would like to thank the staff of Cade’s Assisted Living for their care. Also, a special thankyou to Amber Scott for her love, support and care.
