Carolyn Goodrich Smith

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Goodrich Smith, age 86, will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Rev. J. Ken Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Mrs. Smith passed away peacefully of natural causes at Alexandria Place on April 29, 2021. She was born on July 10, 1934, in Humboldt, TN to the late Claude Goodrich and Ella Pulley Goodrich. Mrs. Smith was a member of Englewood Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school for over 50 years, was a member of the mission team to Barbados and her passion was teaching ladies. Mrs. Smith was a resident of Jackson for 60 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jerry K Smith. Mrs. Smith is survived by her son, Rev. J. Ken Smith (Amy); daughter, Kathie Smith Siler (Jimmy); seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, from 1-2 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
