Bobby Lynn Cox

Funeral service for Mr. Bobby Lynn Cox, age 74, will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Victory Worship Center with Dr. J.P. Stovall officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cox passed away on August 17, 2021, in Jackson, TN. He was born on September 9, 1946, in Bolivar, TN to the late Lloyd Cox and Tempie Sanders Cox. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam and Iraq. Mr. Cox was a longtime member of Victory Worship Center. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, George Cox. Mr. Cox is survived by his sisters, Glenda Jordan (Louis), Carol Fitzgerald (Kenny); sister-in-law, Sadie Oliver (Jerry); nieces, Wendy Stovall (John), Haley Howard (Will); nephew, Steven Cox (Lennie); great nephews, Dr. J.P. Stovall (Brandy), Brendan Cox; great nieces, Kayce Schrupp (Trever), Caitlin Cox; great-great nieces and nephews, John Preston Stovall, Eli Stovall, Rylynn Schrupp, and Cooper Schrupp. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home and from 10-11 on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Victory Worship Center. Pallbearers will be Louis Jordan, Steven Cox, John Stovall, Trever Schrupp, Bobby Barton and Tony Stewart.
