Beverly J Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Jane Silkwood Johnson, age 89, will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Madison Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Gilbreath officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 11am-1pm, before the service. Internment will follow at Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson passed away on January 7, 2023, in Bells, TN. She was born May 25, 1933, in West Frankfort, IL to the late Frank Silkwood and Flossie Lively Silkwood.

Mrs. Johnson was a teacher with Madison County Schools.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kyle Silkwood.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, James Johnson; son, Tim Johnson; daughters, Terry Garner and her husband Mike Cobb, Chris Alexander and her husband Jeff; sisters, Donna Weir, Debra Hawkins; grandchildren, Andrew Castleman and wife Kiara, Zach Alexander, Austin Alexander; great grandchildren, Chloe Castleman and Cameron Castleman.

Pallbearers will be Mike Cobb, Jeff Alexander, Andrew Castleman, Zach Alexander, Harold Van and John Chisholm.
