Graveside services for Mrs. Betty Joyce Taylor, age 79, will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019, at 12:30 PM at Rogers Cemetery with Bro. Marcus Kelley officiating. Mrs. Taylor passed away on December 24, 2019, in Jackson, TN. She was born on August 19, 1940, to the late John and Lillie Swope. Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Travis Kern and Jerry Taylor; six sisters and four brothers. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, Billy Vandiver (Sandra); daughters, Lisa Young (James), Kim Taylor (Robert), Rose Gogel (Chas); brothers, Roger Swope (Beverly), Thomas Swope; twin sister, Loyce Smith (James); sister, Judy Ramsey (John); seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A visitation for Mrs. Taylor will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019, from 10:00 AM 12:00 PM at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home.
