Graveside services for Mr. Ronnie Bates age 62, will be Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at 1:30 pm at Browns Church Cemetery with Bro. Greg Gilbreath officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 12-1 pm at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home. Mr. Bates passed away on April 6, 2022, in Jackson, TN. He was born on September 24,1959 in Louisville, KY to Benjamin Bates Sr. and Anita Bates. Mr. Bates was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Bates Sr. Mr. Bates is survived by his wife Pam Bates; mother, Anita Bates; daughters, Amy Davis, Heather Bates, and Pamela Bates; stepson, Scott Conger (Nikki); brother, Benjamin Bates, Jr. (Stephanie); sister, Shelia Rinks (Randy). Mr. Bates also leaves behind his siter in law, Charlotte Leathers and three grandchildren, Justin Blake Davis, Madelynn Conger and Charlie Conger. Ronnie was an active volunteer firefighter with the Madison County Fire Department St. 2. Hurbert Harvison and all members of St. 2 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers to serve will be B.J. Bates, Scott Conger, Harold Vann, Danny Vann, Chuck Kendrick, and Zach Rinks.
