Martha Sue Bickerstaff

Mrs. Martha Sue Bickerstaff passed away peacefully November 5, 2023 at Maplewood Health Center in Jackson, TN. She was born October 21, 1927 in Lavenia, TN to the late Joseph Blankenship and Linnie McMinn. She married Kenneth Dewey Bickerstaff September 8, 1945, in Corinth, MS, who preceded her in death in 1987. They made their home in the Maple Grove community. Mrs. Bickerstaff retired from Allied Bendix (Honeywell) also Jackson Battery Co. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bickerstaff was also preceded in death by her son, Terry Michael Bickerstaff; daughter, Judy Diane Hart; siblings, Charles, Joseph, Albert, and James Blankenship, Juanita Wimberly, Rachel Gregory.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hundahl (Richard); daughter-in-law, Patricia Bickerstaff; son-in-law, Jimmy Ed Hart; grandchildren, Emily Borden, Rachel Otnes, Kim Humphres, Jamie Walker, Cynthia Fullen, Tina Roberts, Kenny Bickerstaff also numerous great-grand children.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 11, 2023, 12 PM, in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with Dr. Manning Garrett officiating. Burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 11 AM prior the service.
