Danny R Cash

Mr. Danny R. "Totem" Cash, age 74, passed away on August 28, 2022, at his daughter's home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Medina, TN, to the late Ellis R. Cash and Jessie Cotton Cash. He was a graduate of North Side High School. He is preceded in death by his former wife, Diane Cash. Mr. Cash was a retired letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He also served his country in the National Guard until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and riding horses. Mr. Cash is survived by two daughters: Julie Bird (Andy) and Courtney Plunk (Travis), as well as five grandchildren - Liz and Spencer Bird, Tyler, Ethan, and Mason Plunk. He also leaves behind a special friend and companion, Sarah Dahlstrom. Pallbearers will be Spencer Bird, Tyler, Ethan, and Mason Plunk. Honorary Huckleberries will be Danny King, Richard Eddleman, Alan Vermillion and Nate Sorrel. Graveside services for Mr. Cash, will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Hollywood Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Welch officiating.
