Charles Wayne Monks, Sr.

Graveside services for Mr. Charles "Wayne" Monks, Sr., age 90, will be held at 10 am Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Ridgecrest Cemetery. Mr. Monks passed away on July 7, 2023 in Jackson, TN. He was born on May 12, 1933 in Lincoln County to the late Albert Luther Monks and Louise Wright Monks. He was a United States Army Veteran and active member of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Betty Harrison Monks.

Wayne is survived by his sons, Morgan Monks and Charles Monks, Jr. (Rebecca); daughter, Susan Logan (Kevin); sister, Amelia Haithcoat; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Organ Fund at First Presbyterian Church.
